Cancellation Policy

At Naomi’s Cleaning Service, we pride ourselves on maintaining strong communication with our clients.

After making an appointment, you’ll receive a booking confirmation email for your reference. If you’ve scheduled a regularly occurring appointment, such as a weekly or monthly cleaning service, your appointment will be automatically confirmed for the same day and time each session unless otherwise requested.

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for schedule changes and cancellations.

There are no locked-in contracts for our services, and you may cancel any time 24 hours or more in advance by calling (530) 251-7249 or emailing us at naomiscleaningservices1@gmail.com. After, you’ll receive an email or sms message confirming the cancellation in writing. Please note that our cleaning staff do not arrange their own rosters or have access to our booking schedule, so we strongly advise clients to contact us directly rather than canceling through their Cleaner during the appointment.

For cancellations or reschedule requests with less than 24hrs notice, a cancellation fee applies. This cancellation fee is equal to two (2) hours of cleaning and is used to help compensate staff for their travel expenses and lost income.

This includes:

  • Sickness: If someone is sick in the home on the day of the appointment and we were not notified, our cleaner will be obligated to leave. All sickness between cleaner and client needs to be reported 24 hours in advance to be rescheduled.

  • Late cancellations: Without adequate notice we do not have the opportunity to fill a canceled timeslot with another booking, and last-minute changes to our rosters are difficult to arrange.

  • Lockouts: If we arrive for a scheduled booking but are unable to gain access to the property, we will always attempt to contact you. If there is an alternate way in, or someone returns to let us in, we’ll be happy to get to work. Please note, however, that any time spent waiting to enter the property will be billed at the same hourly rate as our cleaning services. 

We value your time and request that you value ours. To prevent any of the above situations, we suggest that our clients enter our appointments into a calendar or scheduling system.
